Savoury Luv Bites
When we introduced our savoury "Luv Bites", specifically the BLT at the Ballard Farmers' Market in 2011, it caused quite a stir. The idea came from tasting a slice of French Cake Sale ( pronounced kake sal) as an appetizer at a party. We decided to combine some of our favorite flavors of bacon, cheese, and herbs acquiring the best from our farmer- vendor friends at the markets to highlight their products. Kiss the Pig 'BLT' smoked bacon, shallots and gouda in a light corn cake, enhanced with sundried tomato cream and fresh garnishes.
Blue Velvet: blue cheese cake, finished with honey infused buttercream and toasted walnuts.
Swimming Upstream: seasonal zucchini and thyme cake, enhanced with smoked salmon mousse and chives.

Our mostly filled cupcakes are enhanced with seasonal berry compotes, handcrafted caramels, ganache, and pastry creams.

On the Rocks! dark chocolate cake, Fleur de Sel salted caramel center, enhanced with sweet caramel buttercream and chocolate ganache.
